Na przywitanie chciałabym wyściskać każdego z osobna, bo to dzięki Wam udało się!
W dniu 9.02 o godzinie 7.30 stawiliśmy się w klinice w Białymstoku, gdzie przywitało nas grono przesympatycznych recepcjonistek i pielęgniarek. Po godzinie 8.00 poznałam Panią Doktor, która urzekła mnie swoim pozytywnym nastawieniem, zaangażowaniem, profesjonalizmem oraz niezwykle ciepłym podejściem do pacjenta.
O 8.30 byłam już na sali operacyjnej gdzie anastezjolog wytłumaczył mi, na czym będzie polegało znieczulenie i wtedy zaczęłam się bać, ale odwrotu już nie było. ;)
Zabieg trwał ok. 3,5 godzin, w trakcie usunięto ok. 10 litrów płynów oraz chorej tkanki tłuszczowej, która ze względu na uszkodzony układ limfatyczny była odkładana przez ostatnie 18 lat.
Po operacji pamiętam, że Pani Doktor spytała, czy chce zobaczyć, jak wygląda noga.
Odpowiedziałam, że nie, bo bardzo bałam się, że mogło się nie udać i moje marzenie o zdrowej nodze legnie w gruzach.
Ponownie zapytała spokojnym, ciepłym głosem "Czy na pewno?" co bardzo mnie uspokoiło i się zdecydowałam.
Zobaczyłam wtedy dwie takie same nogi! Po 18 długich latach są takie same!
Pierwszy tydzień po zabiegu był bardzo trudny. Organizm był bardzo osłabiony, mdlałam, nie miałam siły wstać, było mi bardzo ciężko.
I tutaj chciałabym podziękować mojemu mężowi, który mnie wspierał!
Był to bardzo poważny zabieg w związku z tym na rekomendację Pani Doktor i możliwe komplikacje pozabiegowe musieliśmy zostać przez tydzień w Białymstoku.
Aktualnie dużo lepiej się czuję, noga jest coraz ładniejsza, schodzi opuchlizna pozabiegowa i odbywam rehabilitację. Ze względu na duże ryzyko wystąpienia martwicy skóry, zabieg na stopę będzie wykonany, jak tylko zejdzie opuchlizna ze stawu skokowego.
Dziękuję WAM, bo bez Was nie spełniłoby się to wielkie marzenie i powrót do sprawności!

My leg is my stigma. However, it hasn’t always been like that. An “innocent” accident caused that I started getting some liquids in my leg, and now it is 8 kg heavier than the healthy one. Nobody has been able to help me so far, so my everyday life is full of physical and mental pain. Now I’m a mother – I’m not fighting only for myself! Therefore, I’m asking for your help – I have a chance to recover but I cannot afford it…
I’m 28 years old. I used to be live without this big burden, though I can hardly remember those times when both of my legs were healthy. In 2003, I was in an elementary school. We were having a school picnic and lots of fun, when this accident happened. It didn’t seem to be serious, but it turned out to change my life…
When I came back home, I noticed that my leg was severely swollen, so my mother took me to a clinic. The doctor said it had been an insect bite and sent us home. After two weeks, the leg was not any better, so we went to another doctor. The examination showed it had not been the insect bite but an ankle sprain and bone fracture!
I was in a cast for a month but when it was removed the leg wasn’t any better. What is more, the leg looked much worse! The years passed, more and more doctors recommending various new therapies were visited but nothing helped. I had some medical examinations in Poland and the United Kingdom, and finally I was diagnosed to suffer from lymphedema.
I started some treatments – lymph drainage and compression therapy, which were to prevent from deterioration of my leg. My case is so serious that no massages are of any help in getting rid of the liquids staying in my leg. The swelling is bigger and bigger though I regularly use rehabilitation and follow the advice of the doctors…
17 years have passed since this „innocent” accident, which has changed my life, happened. You may think that I should have got used to this leg, but it’s not so simple… The leg is a huge burden for me in every moment of my life. It’s big, heavy, I can’t put my trousers or shoes on. Even some slight scratches make it ooze liquid. It also makes playing with my child, squatting and kneeling difficult. It is just very painful for me…
I would just like to play with my daughter without these sounds of groans and winces on my face. I wish I were an active and happy mum. I wish I had a healthy leg. It doesn’t look good, but first of all, it makes my life difficult.
I couldn’t accept the fact that nothing could be done about this situation and I started looking for a solution myself. I’ve found a doctor in Słupsk, who finally gave me some hope! The proposed solution was liposuction of liquids and anastomosis of venous and lymphatic blood vessels. Unfortunately, there is one worry, which is the cost of these treatments… In my case, they can only be done privately. The National Health Fund finances them only for patients with cancer. I know that I should be happy – I don’t have cancer and many people would wonder what such a big girl wants from them while there are so many small kids who need help…
However, I decided to ask for help for me as there may be some people who may want to give me a chance… It’s so hard to accept the fact that it was just a sprain of foot, happening to so many people, that has had such a big influence on my life… I believe that I will be healthy one day, therefore I dared to ask you for your support, for which I would like to thank you in advance with all my heart.

Mein Bein ist meine Markierung. Irgendwann war anders. Unschuldigte Unfall bewirkte, dass sich im Bein die Flüßigkeiten häuft. Das kranke Bein weigt heute mehr über acht Gewichte als gesunde Bein. Es war keine Hilfe für mich. Mein Altag ist nur Schmerz. Jetzt kampfe ich nicht nur für mich, ich bin jetzt die Mutter. Darum bitte ich im Hilfe. Es ist für mich einige Chance gesund zu sein. Es ist aber ein Problem- ich habe kein Geld dazu....
Ich bin 28 Jahre alt. Nicht immer habe ich mit diese Bürde gelebt, aber ich habe schon vergessen,wenn ich gesund war. In 2003 war ich in Grundschule. Ein Familienpiknik, Spiele, Freude, und kleine Unfall,der mein Leben verändert.
Als ich nach Hause gekommen ist, war meine Bein geschwollen. Ich bin mit meine Mutter zum Arzt gegangen. Der Arzt heh festgestellt, daß eine Insektenstich war. Ich bin nach Hause zurückgekommen. Nach zwei Wochen war keine Verbesserung und besuchte ich anderen Arzt. Die Testergebnisse zeigten, daß kein Insektenstich war. Der war die Verstauchungen des Knöchels mit Knochenbruch.
Ein Monat war mein Bein im Gips,aber es war keine Verbesserung. Mein Bein hat sehr schlecht ausgesehen. Ich habe viele Ärzte besuchen,und hatte Beratungen in Polen und im Außland. Nachdem medizinische Untersuchungen hat der Arzt die Lymphödem festgestellen.
Ich habe die Lympdrainage begonnen. Aber die Massage helften nicht, die Flüßigkeiten abzugehen. Nichts hilft mich...
Mein Unfall ist vor 17 Jahren passiert, aber ich kann nicht an meine Bein gewöhnen. Das Bein ist groß, schwer und bei kleine Ritze rieselt die Flüßigkeit. Es tur mir weh.
Ich möchte do sehr mit meine Tochter ohne Schmerzen spielen. Ich möchte nur gesunde Bein haben. Jetzt ist es mir schwer zu leben. Ich habe begonnen, się Hilfe selbst suchen. Ich habe den Arzt in Slupsk gefunden. Er hatte mir die Hoffnung. Er hat die flüßige Fettabsangung und Anastomase von Lymph- und Venengefäßen vorgeschlagen. Aber habe ich die Sorge um das Geld. Das kostet viel. Ich weiß,daß ich Glück habe. Ich habe kein Krebs,und Sie meinen vielleicht, daß andere Leute mehr als ich die Hilfe brauchen.
Trotzdem beschließe ich um Hilfe bitten. Vielleicht will jemand mir eine Chance geben. Ich glaube,daß ich gesund wäre, darum wage ich um Hilfe bitten. Schon jetzt danke ich von ganzem Herzen für jede Unterstützung.
