Help us save Alex's only leg! Alex was born in July 2019 with birth defects of all limbs! I will never forget the shock and my cry on the operating table. None of the doctors prepared me for the fact that my son will be born so special ...
Alex does not have a left arm and a right leg. There is no tibial bone in this left leg, and the three-toed foot grows in the opposite direction. The right hand is three-fingered.
When Alex turns 2, there is a chance for a surgery on the left, incorrectly built leg, but until then we need intensive rehabilitation, otherwise there will be nothing to save ...
Alex has already undergone an operation on his right hand, unfortunately the fused fingers (ankylodactyly) could not be saved and one of them had to be resected. The remaining limbs require prostheses. The Paley European Institute gives us hope. The specialists there decided to engage in the fight for Alex's future! And although operations are so badly needed, they are beyond our reach ...
Our greatest dream is for our son to walk one day - just this and so much! However, we are not able to make this dream come true alone ... Please, help!
