Help Ukraine - Fundaliser page for Polish Charity Siepomaga
The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
All donations will go to Siepomaga - Polish charity helping Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
I have been supporting Siepomaga on many occassions over the years and it's a charity I trust so decided to set up a fundalising page linked directly to their donations page for the Ukrainian refugees.
They've been actively involved in providing the necessary supplies to the refugees who have come to Poland since the beginning of the conflict. Donated money is spent on the most urgently required items like: food, water, bedding, baby supplies, medicines etc. There is a lot of info and updates on their website regarding this. If you click on the blue writting at the top of this page it will direct you to their main collections page where you can see that they've raised over 40 million zloty in the past two weeks which is equivalent to around 7 million pounds. 100% of this money will be used to help and this is possible only because all of the parties involved resigned from their usual commisions.
Poland is the first line of support at the moment but is not able to provide everything required on its own. If you would like to help, please donate anything you can and the 100% of the amout will be used to provide neccessary supplies instead of just part of the money which is usually the case with some other charities.
There is not enough info here in the UK how to help the refugees and there is a lot of people who would like to help but don't know what is actually required. The necessary supplies are cheaper to get locally in Poland rather than bringing them over therefore the money donations are the best help at the moment.
