A4BEE 4 Ukraine / Help people in the conflict area
The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
When the war started, it was our natural gesture to help. In A4BEE, Ukrainian people are part of our team, our partners, our friends, and in many cases, our family members. We do, whatever we can, to help them and the people in Ukraine.
Here, on the safe side of the border, we host refugees in our homes, provide free transportation from the Ukrainian & Polish border, collect money, clothes, and medicines. We organize activities for Ukrainian children, work as volunteers in train stations and other places where refugees need our help.
But - this is not enough. Ongoing support is needed to provide basic aid to the most vulnerable people inside Ukraine.
War in Ukraine occurred to be one of the most brutal modern conflicts. The next weeks could be critical for millions of Ukrainian children, elders, and citizens. New people become internal or external refugees every day, but many more are trapped in war zone. Some have to face the lack of water or food, medicines, and other basic supplies. They can’t survive without humanitarian assistance.
We want to help civilians in Ukraine, people whose homes and lives are being destroyed.
Polish Humanitarian Action is in place since the first days of the conflict (since 2014). They provide transport of food and hygienic products to local communities, create emergency aid centers psychosocial assistance centers, and support refugees.
