I cannot let cancer defeat me! Help me win a fight for life!

In 2020, the world started a fight with the pandemic, and I began a battle with cancer…

When I received the diagnosis, I started treatment right away. I underwent urgent surgery to remove my left kidney. It was successful - I defeated cancer! After six months of recovery, I was ready to start a normal life. I vividly remember that day. 

I believed that my family and I still had many beautiful moments ahead of us. 

Unfortunately, my joy didn’t last long…

In September 2021, the doctors discovered lung metastases. I was given the option to start palliative care, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and other treatments. 

After months of battle with cancer, my body was exhausted. Thankfully, the CT showed that the tumors decreased! I was happy again… 

I was offered immunotherapy, but while I was waiting for my application for reimbursement to be considered, I experienced another relapse. 

The imaging tests showed enlarged tumors, which disqualified me from entering the immunotherapy program. In October, I started another round of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, during the second round, I suffered anaphylactic shock, and my test results could not be worse. I was transferred to the isolation ward due to the risk of catching even the tiniest infection, which could be life-threatening. I was on strong medication and injections and underwent exhausting examinations. Eventually, my results slightly improved. 

Despite the hardships of having cancer, I knew I had to put up a fight. I was desperately searching online for a treatment solution. Thanks to other people’s support, I finally found the light at the end of the tunnel - a cancer clinic in Germany.

Our savings were sufficient to start treatment, but now I must continue the expensive therapy in Poland. It is my last chance to survive…
