Update - November 21, 2024
ENORMOUS funds are needed for Adrian's surgery! Help!
A lot has been going on lately. A long search for clinics to help Adrian finally paid off! Cancer surgery will take place in Zurich, but we must still raise over 400,000 zlotys for it. We won't succeed without you! It is our LAST RESORT!
There were moments of despair, though. We were scared that none of the clinics would qualify Adrian for treatment continuation. Thankfully, our fears have now ended.
Adrian will undergo chemotherapy in Germany and brain surgery in Switzerland! Thanks to the Swiss clinic's cutting-edge medical equipment, almost the entire tumor will be resected, and the risk of developing a paresis is only 10%!
In Poland, the doctors managed to remove only a tiny part of the tumor in early September. Despite consultations with various clinics, everyone refused to perform another surgery.
My husband was left without treatment for weeks! Chemo wasn't working, so the doctors decided to stop it. Despite that, the MRI scan results were optimistic - the tumor had shrunk!
In a week, he will start chemotherapy in Germany, and at the same time, we will be raising funds for the surgery in Zurich. We hope that with your help, we will succeed in raising the whole amount! Other therapies are out of the question - we must do everything to collect the money for the surgery.
My husband feels fine, and we're happy we can spend quality time together, go for a stroll, etc. Adrian finds it exhausting, obviously, but glioma usually causes much worse symptoms like vision, movement, and speech problems.
The situation is still dramatic, though. I am scared and will do my best to help Adrian! The amount to raise is enormous - the surgery costs over 400,000 zlotys. That doesn't include transportation, accommodation, and current expenses for physical therapy! Please help us collect the funds!

Until recently, we were just a regular, happy couple. Our world turned upside down in April 2024 when my beloved husband received a diagnosis - stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme. Please join my battle to save Adrian's life!
Our story began just like other cancer-related stories. Between February and March, my husband developed acute headaches. The pain became so strong that he couldn't even get out of bed. I was worried, so I took him to a laryngologist. Unfortunately, the test results didn't show anything odd or suspicious.
Our story began just like other cancer-related stories. Between February and March, my husband developed acute headaches. Eventually, the pain became so strong that he couldn't even get out of bed. I was worried, so I took him to a laryngologist. Unfortunately, the test results didn't show anything odd or suspicious.

While we were searching for answers elsewhere, Adrian's condition got worse. Finally, he underwent a head MRI scan. Although we were supposed to get the results within 2-3 weeks, we received a phone call on the same day. We were told Adrian had a large tumor inside his brain, probably a glioblastoma. The diagnosis made us go weak at the knees.
The doctor said that Adrian could die any minute and ordered us to rush to the hospital! We didn't even have time to come to terms with this cruel news - my husband had to be prepared for the surgery, which eventually took place two weeks later due to extensive cerebral edema in Adrian's head.
Due to an unfavorably located tumor (around brain arteries), the total resection of the tumor was impossible. Adrian could have bled to death on the operating table!

In June, a 6-week-long radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy began. Unfortunately, they both failed - the cancer quickly returned and grew larger, reaching a dimension of 7cm x 5cm x 5cm! Adrian required another surgery in September.
This time, a much smaller part of the tumor was removed. We were told it was Adrian's last surgery. Neurosurgeons refused to perform another risky procedure. Therefore, now we must search for help elsewhere, probably abroad!
The only thing that stands in our way is money, though - all treatments for glioblastoma are extremely expensive.

We're still waiting for a medical case conference that is scheduled almost a month before the surgery. At the same time, we keep looking for treatment solutions.
I will do everything to help Adrian! I believe in his recovery! He has so many hobbies and passions! My husband is a restaurant owner, a sommelier, and a bartender. He loves escape rooms and jogging, and he used to participate in running competitions across the country.
Adrian and I have been married for only two years! We thought we had a whole life in front of us filled with travels and adventures. Now, it can all end prematurely. I am asking you for support from the bottom of my heart! We can stop cancer together!
