Campaign description

Help us survive so that we can keep on winning! If we fail to build a new place, we will lose our Academy! Let's create a future of judo in Poznan!

The Poznan Judo Academy was established in 2009. Since then, we have raised many sports talents, organized valuable sports activities for children and adolescents, and promoted physical activity and respect for competitors. Judo is a lifestyle!

However, we have faced an enormous challenge.
Due to changes in city infrastructure, our current center will be demolished and replaced by a swimming pool. We need a new place to continue our activity! We cannot let our Academy vanish! After all, many people believe it gives their life meaning.

We have already chosen a new location for our judo center, which is going to be a one-of-a-kind facility in Poland. In cooperation with the City of Poznan, we have developed a project that will be co-financed by the City Hall, the government, and the Judo Academy.

The building project will cost ca. 10,000,000 zlotys. All we need is 2,000,000 zlotys! We believe that we can create this great place TOGETHER. We invite you to cooperate with us!

Who can use/attend the new Judo Center?

➡️ Children from 3 years of age.

➡️ The „Talent” group – children and adolescents with a chance to achieve a championship.

➡️ People with intellectual disabilities.

➡️ Adults (including 60 years old and above).

➡️ Students of Jarogniew Drwęski's Szkoła Podstawowa Mistrzostwa Sportowego no. 69 in Poznan (Elementary School with Athletic Program). Since the new judo center will be located near the school, the students can attend it as part of their curriculum.

➡️ Polish and European judo community – a dedicated Judo Center will offer an opportunity to organize sports camps with Olympic Champions.

➡️ Other martial arts clubs.

➡️ Competition organizers.

➡️ National team – the facility is well-adjusted to their training needs!

We believe that Poznań can become the capital of Polish judo.

We have raised many talented athletes who successfully represent our country at the Special Olympics and Deaflympics. Since one of our graduates, Eliza Wróblewska has qualified for the 2024 Olympics, we are even more motivated to continue our mission!
