Unfortunately, our struggle for Alicia's recovery continues!

Here's our story:

Alicja has just turned three years old. She was born prematurely in the 34th week of gestation. She had beautiful blue eyes, blond hair, and a gorgeous smile, but also cytomegaly, which caused epilepsy, high muscle tone in the limbs, weak trunk muscles, and vision and hearing problems. 

Alicja spent the first three weeks of her life in the hospital. After we returned home, we started daily rehabilitation with the help of therapists, which we continue until today. Unfortunately, it is not enough to achieve satisfying results... 

Since birth, Ala has been bravely fighting for a better life. She requires medical equipment and rehabilitation camps - she has already attended three of them. They are crucial to ensuring her correct development and achieving independence in the future! 

Alicja's daily routine mostly includes physical therapy, during which she tries her best to gain control over her body and start walking. However, rehabilitation camps, medical and communication devices, and daily exercises are expensive. 

At the end of January 2024, Alicja will require another, this time, a 2-week-long rehabilitation camp. Can we afford that? It depends on the outcome of our fundraiser. If you want to support us in our battle for Alicja's health and better future, we will be forever grateful! 

The parents
