A School Principal is fighting against the worst cancer❗️Help needed for Andrzej❗️

Andrzej loves people and life. He has never been indifferent to a person in need of help. His life motto is: “How can I help?”. Now, he is the person who needs help – he is fighting with brain tumour!

A wonderful husband, caring father and for a year now, a proud grandfather. A teacher who is passionate about his job. A School Principal who offers support and is a rock for his students and teachers. For 54 years, he has been facing challenges every day. On 6 December, the world stopped... Andrzej lost consciousness at school. In hospital, he was diagnosed with brain abscess.

During his 9-week stay at hospital he was administered antibiotics and every three weeks, had a check-up MRI scan which was consulted with neurosurgeons. Unfortunately, the primary diagnosis turned out to be wrong – a brain tumour was discovered!

On 14 February 2024 he underwent neurosurgery. The surgical pathology report brought terrible news... Glioblastoma – the worst of the worst tumours. The doctor said that Andrzej has 6 to 18 months of life left.

We decided not to give up and to fight with this cruel opponent. In March, Andrzej happily came back to his beloved school. At the same time, he underwent radio- and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the tumour came back in June, in July Andrzej underwent surgery once again. Currently, he receives chemotherapy treatment but it cannot stop grade 4 glioblastoma.

We are looking for treatment for Andrzej abroad. Israel offers an innovative therapy which can help. The cost of it is enormous and that is why we decided to ask for help in raising the funds. Andrzej has always had a big heart for others, and now he needs help. Remember, good deeds always come back!
