I was only 22 years old when I found out I had developed a chronic disease, multiple sclerosis. It was a diagnosis that seemed like a sentence. Despite that, I tried to stay positive. I started to take medications, and after a year, I discovered that I was pregnant. After I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl, I went back to take the medications.
When my daughter turned one year old, I received a letter from the hospital saying that I had a trigeminal schwannoma. I underwent surgery on my 27th birthday. I recovered very quickly, and I was able to retake my medication.
Since 2020, the disease has made it more and more difficult for me to function. Fortunately, I came across a doctor who offered me a solution, which is a medication that will let me recover and regain my independence. The bad news is that it is too expensive, and I cannot afford it. Please, help me!
