I promised the children that I would overcome my illness. Help!

My loving husband, three wonderful kids, devoted friends, the home of my dreams. Now all that is darkened by sorrow.

July 2019, early summer vacation season. That was the first time I felt sharp pain in my belly.

At that time I didn’t realize it would become my daily companion.

After a quick diagnosis it turned out to be Burkitt lymphoma, a highly aggressive (fast-growing) B-cell lymphoma located in the abdominal cavity, 40cm in diameter. I was utterly terrified, and yet I had hope. I knew I had to fight: for my kids that I wanted to see growing up; for our plans to grow old together. I will win, I’ll beat cancer - I said to myself.

I went through 5 cycles of chemotherapy, counting down the days until the end with clenched teeth. During the last cycle I felt pressure on my left kidney. The doctors found another tumor measuring 5cm in diameter.

The PET/CT scan made in March 2020 showed that the tumor is highly aggressive with fast progression.

I'm now in the middle of yet another chemotherapy, but this time it merely slows down the cancer's growth. Now even the strongest pain medication doesn't help with pain.

My only hope is CAR T-Cell Immunotherapy. The cost of this treatment is far beyond the financial capabilities of my entire family. We are racing against time.

I'm begging you – help me stay alive.
