Help me make my pain go away!

My name is Ania, I’m 28 years old, and I need your help.

I have always been an active person, making the most out of every day of my life. My greatest passion is rock climbing.

About a year ago, I discovered that I have endometriosis. I began experiencing symptoms of the disease 10 years ago, although I haven’t been correctly diagnosed until now, despite frequent examinations and living in constant, piercing pain. As a result of years of misdiagnoses, I was prescribed unhelpful medications that caused many side effects.

Every day brings fear of what comes next with this disease. I’m trying to hold on, but it’s extremely difficult both for me, and my loved ones, who do everything they can to support me. We searched thoroughly, but for a very long time were unable to find a public healthcare facility that would be open to help with my treatment and surgery. My requests were rejected at every healthcare facility I went to, due to the lack of specialists and experience in treating endometriosis.

In May, I learned that Medicus Clinic based in Wrocław has considerable expertise in endometriosis treatment. Unfortunately, the National Health Fund of Poland does not reimburse any of the expenses for treatment. Learning the cost of the surgery and required examinations has been a shock to me. The cost of the procedure totals around 50.000 PLN or more than 10.000 EUR.

I would like to ask for your support, as I am currently unable to afford the treatment for endometriosis, yet the treatment is critical in allowing me to live a normal and healthy life, and most importantly, a life without pain.
