SMA is taking away our son… We are fighting for a miraculous recovery and begging for help!

Our son is fading away in front of our eyes… Although his whole body is floppy, his eyes are still sparkling! It is the reason we haven’t surrendered yet. We are begging you for help from the bottom of our hearts -  save our Artem! We are heartbroken because earlier, we could not afford the drug that could have cured him and let him have a normal childhood… We still can’t… We need a miracle and ask for your support! 

We have been fighting the cruel, deadly disease for six years now - basically since the day he was born. Artem suffers from SMA - spinal muscular atrophy, which has already taken its toll on him… 

In Ukraine, we did our best to provide Artem with a better living. When the war outbroke on February 24, 2022, we were forced to flee our country and leave our home and family. We found a shelter in Poland. Unfortunately, Artem’s condition has worsened over the past year…

Due to progressing SMA disease, Artem has developed breathing difficulties and finds minor activities difficult… The war-related trauma, fleeing Ukraine, adapting to a new home, and being homesick must have contributed to intensifying symptoms…

We are fighting for his recovery, but it won’t be possible without you… 

We experienced a tragedy, but we hope for the best. SMA can be stopped with gene therapy, the most expensive drug in the world! And even though an amount to raise is impossible, we would never forgive ourselves for not taking chances which we could…

Today, medicine can work miracles. It doesn’t matter that the drug is out of reach. After all, it saves lives!  It is the unfairness of the modern world  - created by humans for other humans… How can it be possible that a drug developed to stop a deadly disease is unavailable for everyone? It breaks our hearts… Please help our son! 

We are devastated to watch him suffer. We must do something! Please, support our fundraiser so that our son receives the most expensive drug in the world, his last resort! We believe that good-hearted people will help us achieve our goal… We will fight until we are breathless. Until the end…
