Help for Artur!

Norek, because that’s what he is called among the closest family, is a wonderful husband, father and friend. Always eager and ready to help others. Professional firefighter, who fought more than one fire - now he is trying to fight the toughest one.

It started inconspicuously, a few weeks after the wedding in 2019. His wife, Ola, noticed that Artur had lost much weight recently. After persuasion, he went to the doctor. The diagnosis was short and not too serious - appendicitis. Doctors recommended antibiotic therapy and it was supposed to be over. It appeared to be better and Artur returned to duty in the State Fire Service in Świebodzin, and in January 2021 he welcomed his beloved daughter Marianna into the world. Unfortunately, the family's happiness did not last long...

In September, Artur’s health got worse, which is why he decided to start the examination again. In November, doctors announced that there was a several-centimetre tumour where appendicitis was thought to be. It was decided that it was an inflammatory tumour and surgery to remove it was scheduled for early 2022.

We were concerned about Artur's health, but we believed that everything would be fine and his life was not in any danger. Only in January did the doctors see what they were dealing with, and the diagnosis we received then sounded very drastic and broke our hearts into a million pieces: “On the large intestine, Artur has a huge, 10-centimetre cancerous tumour with peritoneal infiltration."

Cancer? Peritoneal infiltrates? It all sounded like a nightmare... The medics refused to remove the tumour, and thus the operation was aborted. We looked for help everywhere. In November, hope appeared in the Professor, who attempted to remove the tumour. Unfortunately, history repeated itself... Despite the doctor's experience, the tumour turned out to be stronger. The operation failed. Hope was gone...

Despite many consultations in Poland with the best specialists in the field of cancer, nobody gives Artur a chance to be cured. Only palliative chemistry remains...

Artur is 34 years old, married and has a 2-year-old daughter. He has passion and dreams. He loves his job and treats helping people as his life mission. He is a firefighter by passion. He was not afraid to fight a fire, he helped in many cases. Due to his profession, he always took care of his health. He led a healthy lifestyle and played sports. Cancer cannot defeat him!

Although this is a difficult time for Artur, he knows that he cannot give up. He has a family to live for! He has been fighting for a year, and he is determined. He wants to return to his normal life, to serve, to save others, and to take care of his wife Ola and daughter Marianka. But now he needs help!
