Fundraiser description
Victoria will have her first surgery in March! We must raise half of the amount until then!
Our goal was to find a way for Victoria to grow taller. However, during follow-up examinations, we learned that her joints and bones are in poor condition and prone to damage! Our daughter requires urgent and expensive procedures that we cannot afford. It is why we are here to ask you for help…
Victoria is 11 years old and goes to elementary school. She’s been suffering from McKusick type syndrome since she was born. The main symptoms include very short stature (90-100 cm in adults) and primary immunodeficiency, the latter of which forced her to undergo a bone marrow transplant at age 1.

We searched for a way to treat Victoria’s shortened legs.
Being 100 cm tall is not enough to start an adult, independent life…
No other medical facility was able to offer her a treatment solution except for Paley European Institute in Warsaw.
When we arrived there this year, we received terrible news…
Victoria’s hips and knees require immediate surgery! Her condition has been worsening day by day! The femoral heads barely fit into acetabulums in the hip joints, which causes both pain and joint degeneration. Victoria needs TWO expensive surgeries that cost a total of ca. 1,000,000 zlotys.

We are devastated, but we simply cannot afford them… We fought “just” to make Victoria taller only a couple of months ago. Today, we must also stop the progress of degenerative joint disease before it’s too late!
Our daughter has become weaker recently. A while ago, taking a walk was a piece of cake for her. Today making more than 500 m has become torture…
Every day brings pain.
We must put an end to this! But we need your help. Without the surgeries, Victoria might stay in a wheelchair for the rest of her life…
Please, do not let it happen… Save Victoria!
