This is CD PROJEKT X-mas Charity Fundraiser for Ocalenie Foundation.
Ocalenie Foundation has been operating since 2000. The organization supports refugees and immigrants living in Poland, offering assistance with day-to-day tasks, like renting a flat or enrolling a child into a kindergarten, as well as specialized legal, psychological and social support and employment counselling. The Foundation also organizes Polish courses for adults, provides educational support to refugee and migrant children, offers housing and integration programs for refugees.
Since mid-August 2021, Ocalenie has been present at Polish-Belarussian border, providing humanitarian help to asylum seekers trapped there. The Foundation also offers legal assistance to those people who managed to submit their applications for international protection in Poland and their asylum applications are now pending.
From the first days of Russia's invasion on Ukraine Ocalenie was present on the Polish-Ukrainian border and ready to help refugees. In Warsaw, Łomża, Łódź, Lublin, Chełm, Przemyśl, Zamość, and border crossings we provided support for over 15 000 people who fled the war.
The Foundation's activity in response to the humanitarian crisis at the border and the war would not be possible without generous donations. Each one is highly appreciated.
