W 1992 roku Daria przeżyła wypadek samochodowy. Tragiczne zdarzenie spowodowało wyrwanie nerwu splotu barkowego. Od tego czasu Daria ma II grupę inwalidzką i nie jest w stanie poruszać lewą ręką. Doszło do zaniku mięśni, jej zdrowie wciąż ulega pogorszeniu. Jedynie regularne masaże i rehabilitacja są w stanie pomóc. To jednak ogromne koszty.
