Let's help Dawid

Working a three-shift schedule is a challenge for most people, but not my son. Dawid was a machine operator at a factory. He enjoyed his work and never complained. He has always been helpful, empathetic, and a family person. My son has always been a great man.

One day, in January, Dawid came home after a night shift. He ate breakfast and went to bed to rest. It was his standard practice, so as always, I wished him a good sleep. The most horrible moment happened a few hours later when I heard his scream. I found him lying on the floor asking for help. He was experiencing an excruciating headache that debilitated him. 

The ambulance arrived quite fast. The diagnosis was: a stroke. He was put into a pharmacological coma for two weeks. Day by day I waited for him to wake up. I was so scared. Thank God, Dawid is a strong fighter. He never gave up.

Dawid is currently undergoing physiotherapy. Even the smallest progress in recovery makes me so happy. Dawid can hear me and understands what I say to him. When I tell him about family his eyes fill with tears. As a family, we help as much as we can. However, the rehabilitation cost is so high that we cannot cover it.
