The most important thing for any parent is that the child is born healthy. We were not given the opportunity to experience this... How can we accept that Dawidek will never be able to explore the world like his sisters?

Our beloved toddler received a diagnosis of Down syndrome. One of the symptoms of trisomy is a significantly reduced immunity of the child. We foundthis out for ourselves in dramatic circumstances....

When our son was 3 months old, the whole family passed the RSV virus. For us and our daughters it was a simple cold. Unfortunately, Dawidek ended up in the hospital, as the severity of the virus infection was associated with the risk of apnea and hypoxia!

Fortunately, the son recovered and quickly returned home, but since then we have been constantly trembling for his health. After the birth of Dawidek, the life of the whole family has changed drastically - the daily schedule is arranged for his needs: numerous visits to specialists, rehabilitation, speech therapy classes, sensory integration exercises.

The son is not yet able to walk, so we have to carry him up to the third floor - sometimes several times a day, returning from further examinations and rehabilitation classes. To best care for his development and immunity, we try to avoid processed foods and added sugar.

Doctors suspect hearing impairment in Dawidek ... Fortunately, so far no other serious ailments have been detected, but the son must be under constant control of many specialists. His health condition occupies our thoughts all the time!

Dawidek is a cheerful, full of life boy. He loves playing and exercising in the water, and gets along well with his sisters. However, it's hard to carefree enjoy his childhood when time is consumed by medical appointments and many hours of rehabilitation.

We ask you to support the fight for our little son's fitness. We will do everything to make Dawidek as independent as possible and, above all, happy. Unfortunately, the cost of rehabilitation and treatment is growing all the time and exceeds our means. From the bottom of our hearts we ask you for help!
