Fundraiser goal: A year-long ambulatory rehabilitation
Fundraiser description
David is a young, talented architect who, until May 2021, enjoyed his life, realized his dreams, and spent his free time with his family. His world was heading in the right direction, and suddenly it stopped.
David suffered from a subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by a ruptured aortic aneurysm. All of a sudden, his world fell apart. In one moment, nothing was more important than a fight for life.

When he woke up from a coma, we were relieved. However, we didn’t realize how much effort must be put into regaining what was lost…
A left hemiparesis, loss of vision in the left eye, and damage to the frontal lobe resulted in losing independence in daily life.
My beloved son David is passionate about gliding, astronomy, and the universe. He is a true friend who reaches out his helping hand. Today, he needs it himself. Every day is a struggle for recovery. Thanks to strenuous physical therapy he overcomes his weaknesses and becomes stronger.

It is why he cannot abort the rehabilitation with physical therapists and neuropsychologists. He’s been trying very hard and has already achieved so much, but the path to full recovery is still long. Please help my son David!
Only you can make his chance to regain independence possible!
