Campaign description
Despair, pain, fear. Tears and grief of innocent children. The uncertainty of tomorrow. Hastily packing up and leaving in a hurry to the sound of exploding bombs. Life in a new, unfamiliar place. This is the experience of the children from the orphanage in Mariupol, Ukraine, who’ve been evacuated to a place near Lublin, Poland. Their life will never be the same again... Today they especially need care and attention from adults!

They did not have a happy childhood, each of these children has their own difficult story. And now it has been exacerbated by the horrors of war.
They really need care, safety and love.
Sixty children from six to seventeen years old. Their evacuation from Mariupol, a Ukrainian city that is being constantly bombed, about whose we hear every day in the media. They experienced tremendous, unimaginable trauma. Now, even though they are in a safe place, they need our help to deal with the harm that had been done to them. We want to help them start a new life full of joy, fun and safety. Not only had they lost their parents, they also experienced war trauma.
Currently, children cannot continue their education. A school in Kazimierz Dolny, a small town near Lublin, Poland, where they’d been evacuated, could not accept them, as it weren’t able to accommodate so many students. As a result, these kids are not attending school at all, there are no activities in their life that would distract them from thinking about what they went through recently. To resume their studies remotely, they need laptops and tablets – this is the ask of the orphanage’s management that was evacuated together with them.
For these young refugees to stay healthy and develop, they also need healthy food, especially fruits and vegetables, dairy products: yogurts, kefirs, etc. Physical therapy is also needed, so we need orthopedic exercise mats, sensory integration therapy tools, and devices for developing motor skills.
As you can see, a lot is needed. That is why we ask you for financial help. The world of a child should be filled with fun, laughter and joy, and not with bombs, fires and omnipresent fear. Every child deserves a happy childhood. Despite the difficult experiences, the fate of Mariupol children can be changed! Together we can change their lives for the better!
Help these kids! You can make their life better!
We need 27 tablets for children aged 7-13 and 31 laptops for children aged 14-17.
