“We know you are there...” Please, help us get Ewelina back!

We still cannot believe that this happened to Ewelina...our beloved friend, sister and partner simply did not wake up one day! That morning divided her life into two parts – in the first one, she was a fulfilled woman and mother. In the second one...?

As a result of a severe hypoglycaemic episode Ewelina’s central nervous system was damaged. She has been in hospital since 30 August. When we visit her, she is looking at us. But does she recognize us?

Disturbances of consciousness and no logical contact. Tetraparesis. Constant care needed. These words could shatter our hope of getting Ewelina back. But we can see that SHE IS FIGHTING! She sits on her own and tries to stand up. She has an enormous strength!

Ewelina is currently at hospital in Warsaw but because of her condition she does not qualify for a refunded rehabilitation! This is going to impact her future! For this reason, we would like to transport her to a specialistic rehabilitation facility where, under the care of specialists, she could fight for her health and mobility.

When we needed help, we could always count on her! She is a wonderful person with a big heart! And that is why today, we want to return the favour more than ever. But although we still believe she is going to return to us, the costs of this necessary rehabilitation are overwhelming!
