Fundraiser description
Franek was was born in 26th week of pregnancy together with his twin brother. On fourth day he had a cerebral hemorrhage, worst of all 4th degree. It caused hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
He has ventricular and peritoneal valve implemented. Franek's physiotherapy started in the intensive care unit and last permanently till now. His twin brother died last year after two liver transplantations.
We were the donors in both cases. Franek is our only child and we devoted our lives to him fully. Our son has quadriplegia. He does not walk. Hardly sits on a chair without support. Spastics rules his movement.

Shortened muscles constantly pull the head of the femur out of the acetabulum. His hips are at high risk of dislocation. The surgery that Franek will undergo is designed to change the angle of the femoral head. Franek's bones will be intentionally broken and by cutting the wedge set in the correct position. Then they will be fused with screws and plates.
The most difficult time for us will be the time of convalescence and rehabilitation. For six weeks, Frank's legs will be completely immobilized in a forced, correct position in the orthosis. We are very afraid of this procedure, but we know that there is no other way out. Dislocation of the hips is a huge pain and the inability to move at all.
We don't want Franek to suffer.

The operation will be performed at a clinic in Aschau, Germany. It will be carried out by an orthopedic doctor who has been running Franek for a long time.
This is a very good clinic, specializing in this type of treatment. The cost of the planned operation, stay in the clinic and specialized transport is over PLN 70,000. Unfortunately, we don't have that money...
Therefore, we ask you for help and ask you to support us in collecting this amount.
