Fundraiser description
When you wait for your baby to be born, all you think about is this new reality of having a child. When will the baby make its first steps? Unfortunately, that didn't happen for us.
Our son won't be able to walk unless he undergoes expensive surgeries... Please help us!
In the 20th week of gestation, the ultrasound showed a congenital disorder in the fetus, which made us anxious until the delivery... Franek was born in 39th week as a healthy baby boy and received an Apgar score of 10. The doctors confirmed the diagnosis, though - our son had fibular hemimelia.
In Franek's case, it is characterized by the lack of fibula bones in both lower legs and the lack of two toes on both feet.
To be able to walk and run like other children, he requires surgeries at the Paley European Institute in Warsaw.
Unfortunately, the treatment costs almost 200,000 zlotys! We cannot afford it, so we ask all good-hearted people to donate. Please help us! Give our son a chance for a better future!
