At first, fight for health for many years, then amputation... Halina has been through so much – please, help❗️

Our mother’s health problems started many years ago, and she has been coping with them for almost all her life... When she was 18, her left femur was broken as a result of an accident. Unfortunately, there were complications during the surgery that have changed her life into a continuous fight for her health!

The procedure turned out to be the beginning of even more serious problems. For many years, my mother had to cope with a chronic osteomyelitis of the femur and underwent many surgeries. However, despite the doctors huge effort, the only option to save our Mum’s life was to amputate the leg…

The surgery took place in 2020. Mum has to learn to function in a completely different reality. She has also started using a prosthesis at that time, and she already had three of them. Now, the time has come to change it, but money is a big obstacle – unfortunately, it is very expensive.

What is more, in May 2025, Mum had another unfortunate event – she broke the other femur... Since then, she has been bedridden and needs help with the activities that she was able to undertake on her own not so long ago!

Mum needs a new prosthesis urgently in order to be able to start rehabilitation and stand on her feet. This is the only chance for her to a glimpse of her old life back and to improve her mobility. We would like to provide her with necessary treatment and equipment, but we cannot deal with the huge costs on our own, and that is why we are asking for help.

We believe that together we can help our Mum live a happy and peaceful life again, and her everyday life will become better and easier. With all our hearts, we are asking, if you can, please help us in this difficult fight for our Mum’s health! We will be grateful for any kind of support!
