The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.
Ukrainians are hardworking, honest and optimistic people. Every day in Poland they are building our homes, fixing our electrical installations or helping install HVAC equipment. Just like our Pros. They are also working in Polish IT companies as engineers, QAs, designers and system admins, account managers and marketing specialists. Just like us. Around 1mln Ukraininans live in Poland. Now their homecountry is at war and a significant number of refugees have already arrived in Poland (around 115,000 when I'm writing this, and we already declared we will take everyone that needs it). Even more are displaced in Ukraine fleeing the cities close to the front line. All those people need help from basic necessities to medical supplies to housing. A number of organisations are coordinating that help and modern platforms like this one allow us to pool money quickly and apply help where it's most needed.
Freedom isn't free - we see this today quite clearly, and while we can't do a lot from the distance, we can still help. Pitch in however you can, and if you can't, pass this link forward - perhaps someone else will.
