An ongoing fight for an pain-free life! Together for Ignaś!

After six weeks in a cast and six weeks of intensive rehabilitation, a miracle happened – Ignaś took his first steps! All of us were waiting for this moment – it was touching and filled us with pride and gratitude. But unfortunately...this is not the end of this journey. For this reason, we need to ask for support for Ignaś once more!

There are further challenges ahead of our son... multi-stage femoral lengthening, further surgeries, and long, demanding rehabilitation. Ignaś is under the care of the best specialists at the Paley European Institute who are giving him a real chance for mobility and a pain-free life.

Thanks to your enormous help and support, on 5 April 2025, Ignaś underwent his first, very difficult hip and knee reconstruction surgery. This surgery made taking the first steps possible.

It was a wonderful moment but we still have to fight. We have been fighting since Ignacy’s birth. During the pregnancy we knew that something could be wrong. It came as a great shock to us when our son was diagnosed with such a serious defect...

Ignaś is suffering from congenital femoral deficiency and his hip is also not developed properly. This condition is characterized by a progressive limb length discrepancy. The deficient limb does not grow as it should and as a result the length discrepancy only worsens.

We have our first success. But the fight goes on. Unfortunately, the costs of the further stages of treatment are too high for us. For this reason, with humility and great faith, we are asking for your support. Each zloty, each share and each good word brings Ignaś closer to the goal – a life without pain, without limits, on his own two feet.

We are very grateful that we are not alone in this fight. Together we can perform a miracle again! We can give him an active live without pain!
