ISS UK and Ireland: Happy Kids Foundation 'S.O.S. Ukraine' campaign

The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.

This is the ISS UK and Ireland fundraising page for the Happy Kids Foundation – the charity we have chosen to support with all the money raised from our Ukraine fundraising activities this month.

As we have all seen on the news, refugees escaping the conflict in Ukraine have been arriving in Poland in large numbers. When our senior leadership team heard about the amazing things our colleagues in Poland are doing to support families escaping the conflict, they knew that colleagues in the UK would want to play their part too. That is where Happy Kids comes in.

Happy Kids are a Polish charity specialising in children's welfare, and with significant experience in foster care, often in the face of humanitarian crisis. The foundation works with international children’s welfare organisations (the foundation is part of a Europe wide, UN backed group – Eurochild) and public service providers to create viable, long-term and holistic care for displaced children.

In February 2022 the Mayor of Lodz entrusted Happy Kids to co-ordinate the emergency evacuation of some of the most vulnerable victims of the war, children in orphanages and foster care, from Ukraine to homes in Poland.

Happy Kids has already evacuated thousands of children - many who have additional needs - from Kharkiv, Kherson, Lviv, Kiev, Odessa, Poltava, Volyn, Zhytomyr but there are more kids who need help.

Your donations will fund immediate needs such as transport, food, clothes, toiletries and hygiene products, and secondary medical treatment, psychological therapy or legal care.

Thank you for supporting the campaign and for helping to keep safe some of the most vulnerable children impacted by the conflict in Ukraine.
