Fundraiser description
In 2017, I learned I had endometriosis. The disease was not as popular several years ago as it is nowadays. I did not even realize how much it would impact my life...
My current health condition is critical. In 2018 and 2020, I underwent two surgeries that failed. Endometriosis affected not only my reproductive organs but also my small and large bowel. Unfortunately, the doctors had not detected it earlier.
My disease has become life-threatening - it caused damage to my intestines to the extent I might need an ostomy.
I've been suffering from acute pain, discomfort, and digestive disorders. My immune system has weakened. I have lost weight and cannot gain a pound...

In the last couple of years, I have gone through a lot. I divorced, moved back to Poland after 11 years in England, and changed occupation. Lately, I have experienced another tragedy - my mom died... I was struggling with depression for years.
When I look back, I could have had my reproductive organs removed to help cure the disease. However, I wanted to become a mom, so I went through IVF that failed... Now all I want is to recover and be pain-free.

Against all odds, I am trying to stay positive and enjoy my hobbies: hiking in the mountains and cultivating my allotment. My dog became the apple of my eye!
My dream is to spend my free time not worrying about the inability to get out of bed because of pain. I love to socialize and connect with nature. My disease often makes it impossible... I find it really hard.
Based on what I have learned, I switched to a strict diet. I started to take care of myself. I avoid stress and exercise a lot. It all seems ineffective, though. Sometimes I ask myself, why am I getting sick again? I did my best and failed...

The only solution is an expensive surgery, followed by a long-term recovery... I paid for my treatment for years, thanks to the money I had earned abroad. Due to my health issues, I quit my job two years ago. However, I am going back to work soon! Thankfully, my boyfriend helps me, too.
I have always supported my friends and family. Now I am the one in need! I will be grateful for any donation.
There's hope for me! Thanks to you, I might recover. Surgery is scheduled for September 12. I believe we can make it! Keep your fingers crossed!
