One day, he suddenly cried out in pain and then fell down – an aneurysm burst in his head. We went to hospital where a dramatic fight for his life started. Reanimation, urgent surgery and many days in the ICU filled with fear and uncertainty. The family was keeping watch by his bed, looking at a person, who had just been standing by the bread oven, joking and working, and now was fighting for each breath.

Jacek survived. It is a miracle and we are grateful to the doctors and you for supporting him in the first months of his fight. The previous fundraiser allowed us to cover the cost of a single rehabilitation stay which brought great progress and gave Jacek hope that he can regain his mobility.

There is a next and very important step ahead of Jacek:  another rehabilitation stay that gives hope for further, positive results, Unfortunately, the cost of this specialist rehabilitation is too high for us to afford.  There is no time to waste because consistency is crucial when it comes to Jacek’s treatment.

On 4 December 2025, Jacek turned 60. Instead of gifts, he asks for only one thing – health. For an opportunity to continue the fight that he is fighting with a strong will to live. For his loved ones, each donation is like a fresh portion of hope, another step that Jacek can take towards mobility.
