Fundraiser description
When we heard the diagnosis, we couldn’t believe it. There was a huge question mark over Johny’s future.
Our son was born on September 24, 2022, with fractured tibial and fibular bones of the left lower limb. This defect impairs normal development and causes either movement difficulties or a total inability to walk…
We were offered a high-risk treatment that could have resulted in knee and skin damage, not to mention a leg amputation.
Due to the vast extent of the defect, it is extremely difficult to treat…
The cost of the first, most complex surgery exceeds 450,000 zlotys.
Unfortunately, our son will require other similar procedures and physical therapy until he stops growing up.
Currently, our son’s leg is misshapen. Excess skin is hanging loosely in the area of the underdeveloped bone… Thankfully, he has maintained a sensation in the leg. However, it’s still too little to achieve developmental milestones like crawling or WALKING!
Johny is trying his best to move his toes and lift his leg, but he seems to be in pain when he does it.
The sooner we raise funds for the first surgery, the higher the chances of saving Johny’s tiny leg and letting him walk. We have no time to lose! We must act now.
We need your support today. The price to pay for our beloved son’s health is high, and we cannot afford it.
Marlena and Paweł, Johny’s parents
