"Expensive treatment is my only hope for life..." – save Janek ❗️

My name is Jan, and I'm 25 years old. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare malignant brain tumor. Unfortunately, due to its location, it cannot be surgically removed, and the tumor keeps growing. I am in need of a very expensive treatment to have a chance at living. So, I'm earnestly asking for your help.

So far, I've undergone several diagnostic procedures, including multiple scans, MRIs, spectroscopy, and two brain biopsies. I've also had radiation therapy, but unfortunately, it didn't yield any positive effects.

However, there's hope for me – a mutation, V600E in the BRAF gene, has been detected in my tumor, allowing for a targeted treatment!

BRAF inhibitor therapy is highly effective compared to standard chemotherapy and additionally exhibits slower acquisition of treatment resistance.

Unfortunately, despite its confirmed effectiveness, this therapy isn't covered by insurance in Poland for glioblastoma. This means that the cost of treatment and additional tests – totaling over 200,000 PLN (50,000 USD) annually – I will have to cover from my own pocket, which I'm unable to do in any way...

I have many plans and dreams I'd like to accomplish, and each month of this therapy offers significant chances for extending my life!
