Fundraiser description
The thought of making my beloved wife Agnieszka a widow and abandoning my dog paralyzes me every day. I have glioblastoma - brain cancer, and my last chance for recovery is a non-refundable immunotherapy in Germany, which I cannot afford.
That is why I must ask you for help. Cancer therapy can be started even tomorrow! Every little donation matters!
My health issues started in the summer of 2023. First, I developed mild tremors in my chest, hand, and neck. My doctor detected a B12 deficiency and prescribed supplements. Meanwhile, my wife and I went on vacation. At that time, I didn't realize they were my last.
Unfortunately, despite my B12 level going back to normal, my symptoms aggravated, so much so that I was referred to the hospital for further examination. That's when I received a dramatic diagnosis - a brain tumor!

Although my doctor had warned me about the high risks of having surgery, on July 27, 2023, I had my tumor removed. It was a glioma - brain cancer, so I required an adjuvant therapy - chemo and radiation to prevent recurrence.
Brain surgery resulted in complications, though, such as leg paralysis, which has made it impossible to walk my beloved dog.
In early January, I had a follow-up MRI that revealed cancer recurrence. I truly hoped it would cut me some slack! It didn't…
I consulted specialists from two different hospitals. One of them recommended another brain surgery, and the other didn't. In his opinion, it would do more harm than good - I would end up wheelchair-bound or bedridden for the rest of my life.
While searching for other treatment solutions, my wife came across a clinic in Germany that specializes in glioblastoma treatment. It proposed immunotherapy, which can stop or even reverse cancer!
In glioma, a complete recovery is rare. We, as patients, race against time and fight for the best quality of life.
I wish I lived to an old age with my wife and loved ones. This dream of mine costs ca. 400,000.
Although I'm on steroids, which allow me to work, I cannot afford the treatment. Since the diagnosis, our lives have changed by 180 degrees. Cancer is on our minds constantly, and we are focused on one goal - to keep me alive.
I am asking you for help - every little donation is much appreciated!
