Fundraiser description
Since the correct diagnosis, our son has been fighting against a debilitating disease – encephalomyelitis. Each day, this disease deprives him of his childhood, joy and safety. An innocent child and his whole family seem to be in hell!
Lately, we have been through dozens of consultations, hospitalisations and treatments. The only therapy that has shown a real improvement was immunotherapy – immunoglobulins and stem cells. It was a miracle. Our son started getting back to life. There were smiles, communication, breathing without fear and SPEECH that we were missing so much!
But then something that we feared the most happened… The fundraiser ended and the costs increased due to the extended time. The estimate was no longer valid, our son’s weight changed and we did not have additional funds to continue his treatment...
Now we are before the second, key treatment phase. It is the only chance to get rid of this disease once and for all. We have been through dozens of consultations and medical case conferences with specialists from different continents to make the treatment protocol consistent and effective.
Unfortunately, the cost of Karim’s treatment is exorbitant for us, we cannot afford it, even with the help of our family. But it is possible if we join forces!
We are not asking for ourselves. We are begging for help for our child. He wants to enjoy playing with his siblings, brothers Ksawery and Marcel. Our son wants to live, go to school, dream and laugh. But without this whole treatment procedure that was planned for him, his brain will be destroyed by his immune system...
As parents, we will do anything. We sold what we could to save Karim. Today we have no choice but to ask the good-hearted people to support us again. Each zloty is a step closer to the treatment. Each share gives us a chance to reach more people who could help. Each gesture is meaningful!
