She is an intelligent, beautiful, happy, and brave young woman who has tried parachuting and flew a light aircraft. She has always helped other people, and she has volunteered in many charity organizations. She has never been afraid to dream and has lived life to the fullest. 

Unfortunately, it all has stopped. The disease forced Caroline to give up everything… 

In September 2020, Caroline was diagnosed with stage III melanoma which then metastasized to the lymph nodes of her left armpit. We couldn’t believe it. We were scared, confused, and unaware that the worst was yet to come…

Two months later, Caroline underwent surgery to excise the melanoma tumors. It wasn’t the end of our battle, though. In January 2021, the cancer spread to other parts of her body and transferred into stage IV melanoma. Its treatment didn’t bring the expected results…

Another surgical procedure was required to remove the metastases, and preventive radiation therapy was performed. In the following months, my daughter fell fine. Unfortunately, at the end of August, her condition started to get worse again…

She developed painful headaches that turned out to be the symptoms of brain metastases! 

The oncologists decided to abort immunotherapy since the appearance of other tumors disqualified our daughter from further drug reimbursement from the National Health Fund. 

Currently, Caroline undergoes standard and aggressive chemotherapy, which offers as little as 10% effectiveness for this type of tumor. However, a much better cancer treatment can be implemented that combines immunotherapy and chemotherapy and is as much as 60% effective! 

Unfortunately, its monthly cost is tens of thousands of zlotys! We cannot afford it…

It is why we ask for donations from all the good-hearted people to help our beloved daughter Caroline forced to fight in this battle at such a young age… The therapy is her last resort and last chance to survive… Please help us!
