URGENT 🚨 An aggressive brain tumor takes away a young person’s life❗️Help❗️

Konstanty has always been a happy, energetic eighth-grader. He used to dream about becoming a chef at a restaurant and lived his life to the fullest. Nothing indicated that one afternoon his life would change forever…

Unfortunately, he had to start a battle with the worst enemy one could even imagine. A malignant brain tumor! We still do not know if our 13-year-old friend can survive until tomorrow…

Konstanty has always been healthy. He never got sick. A couple of days ago, he was rushed to the hospital in Poznań with suspicion of appendicitis. His mom was worried about his vomiting, which appeared from time to time for the last two weeks. The symptoms intensified day by day. On the day of the hospital visit, Konstanty started to see in gray… The doctors excluded appendicitis and kept on searching for the diagnosis. 

And they found one…

Konstanty’s mom received unexpected and terrible news – her son had a BRAIN TUMOR! We could not believe it. We wanted to scream as we felt powerless and confused. We refused to acknowledge it. Konstanty was too young to suffer! Too young to die! We were devastated, but we knew we could not surrender. 

Konstanty and his mom were immediately transferred to the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw by emergency medical helicopter, where they received another bad news. They found out that Konstanty had a 4-cm-large inoperable brain stem glioma, which had an unfavorable location and was an aggressive form of cancer. The doctors reassured them that they would do their best to make Konstanty’s life longer… 

We, his closest family and friends, will also do our best to save our dear friend, to make his life colorful again!  

We have already consulted many specialists around the world. We should soon obtain the opinions and treatment proposals… Currently, Konstanty has undergone a biopsy, and he requires constant medical assistance and rehabilitation. 

There are several treatment options, but we do not know which is the best for Konstanty… The doctors suggested weeks-long radiation therapy and an experimental drug that was launched on the market only a year ago. However, the specifics of the treatment will depend on Konstanty’s health condition and the upcoming examinations. 

Unfortunately, we already know that the costs will be enormous, and we won’t be able to cover them. We also know that we need to pull ourselves together and save Konstanty! We will do our best to fight cancer together! We would do everything we could to see Konstanty healthy and pain-free…

The only thing we can do now, though, is to ask you for support. We cannot afford the high cost of treatment. So today, we beg you to donate!
