Kornel has always been under the care of clinics and various specialists. He struggled with educational, developmental, and social problems... We have always been seeking answers as to why, because I often heard that "something is not right." As a child, Kornel frequently fell ill, and that was the focus.

Despite suspicions of epilepsy, we were not referred for neurological examinations. An EEG performed at age 6 showed nothing that would prompt further investigation and search for the source of the problems. A tragic accident when Kornel was 9 was supposed to be an unfortunate turning point. Unfortunately, despite many examinations, specialist care, and annual MRI scans, the cause was still unknown.

Until the suggestion for renewed neurological efforts. In 2021, I finally understood my son's behavior when the doctor, based on the tests, determined that Kornel has a congenital brain defect. Further EEG tests confirmed this.

But the educational problems grew stronger each year, which pushed us to find a school where Kornel would not face difficulties related to his condition. He finally found an environment that met his needs. A school that supports children with various issues.

At the same time, we reached a clinic where Kornel was clearly diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and mental disorders caused by brain damage or dysfunction, or somatic disease. This showed the direction for research that not only can help but is necessary for Kornel to be able to cope now and in the future.

And here is the problem. Now that we have a defined path and hope for better days, the costs of treatment and tests painfully bring us back to earth like heavy chains. That's why we've decided to break through and ask for help. Every smallest or symbolic amount is a tremendous support, for which we already thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
