Fundraiser description

Pain that paralyzes my whole body comes when at least expected.

Sometimes, even medications won't help me get out of bed. Although I have been ill for almost twenty years, I still find it hard to get used to it.

My health issues started when I was a teenager. One day, before school, I developed a sharp pain in my abdomen. An ambulance took me to the hospital. The initial diagnosis was appendicitis, but it wasn't until the MRI scan that I learned I had spinal nerve root compression!

I started treatment and physical therapy that restored my physical abilities. Just as I thought I was cured, I started my dream job as a carpenter. Unfortunately, in 2017, I faced a relapse. Since I began to feel unbearable pain that didn't go away for months, the doctors decided to perform surgery.

In 2018, I underwent a successful spinal implant procedure - a titanium implant was inserted into my spine. Although I was on medications after the operation, I felt much better! I could go back to work and enjoy life. The doctors warned me that I would require more disc surgeries in the future, though.

Four years later, the pain came back. My disease was taking a heavy toll on me, so much so that I couldn't work. Lately, it has affected one of my legs. As a result, I had to rush to the hospital several times. Due to my excruciating back pain, I must call an ambulance a couple of times a month!

I struggle with basic activities like dressing up, vacuuming, or washing the dishes. I cannot sleep at night. Sometimes, I feel like a prisoner - leaving the house equals falling to the ground.

The latest MRI scan revealed migration of lumbar disc herniation. Additionally, I was diagnosed with sciatica. The combination of these causes pressure on my nerves, which might result in disability!

I am a young man who dreams of waking up without pain. I wish I could go back to work. Please help me recover! Any donation would mean the world to me.
