Fundraiser description
Last February, I married the love of my life - my girlfriend of 11 years. In May, I was diagnosed with 4-grade BRAIN CANCER and told I had three years to live. I am not giving up, though! Please help me!
We had a dream wedding that we celebrated with our friends and family. We had plans like every young couple. We wanted to spend free time with our loved ones, hitchhike, and play board games in the evening. We adopted two dogs named Lambert and Shogun and wanted to start a family as we had just bought our first apartment.
And then, our world suddenly collapsed.
In May 2023, I had my first seizure, which caused chaos among my family members. Initially, I was diagnosed with a stroke, but later, it turned out I had a brain tumor. I couldn't believe it! It was a pure nightmare! I started to seek information on the type of tumor I had, wondering how much it would change my life.

I have two surgeries in Bydgoszcz and Warsaw behind me, proton therapy in Cracow, chemotherapy in Gliwice, and I am about to undergo another chemo and radiation therapy in Bydgoszcz.
I have astrocytoma grade 4: glioblastoma. Statistically, I have 1-3 years to live if I undergo all treatments available in Poland. However, I still believe I can beat this number using innovative treatment methods!
I need your help, though. I won't be able to pay for expensive therapies out of pocket. Also, I must undergo genetic testing first so that the doctors can tailor cancer therapy to the type of cancer I'm having. I also require a FET PET-CT scan that shows lesions and tumors that aren't detected by regular CT or MRI scans.
I wish I could undergo a non-refundable OPTUNE therapy and combination chemotherapy. I also need medical appointments, supplements, and further examinations.

Until now, I could afford all treatment-related expenses, including doctor's appointments, transportation, and accommodation. However, after the second surgery, my condition deteriorated - I developed seizures, speaking and reading difficulties, balance disorder, and numbness of the right side of my body. These symptoms make independent life impossible.
I need round-the-clock care from my wife and family members due to my inability to perform basic activities. I also cannot work because of my partial blindness.
Despite my health issues, I try to live normally. My family and friends support me, which I am grateful for. I believe that together, we can work miracles! It's not my time to die yet - I want to start a family and enjoy life! Please help me defeat cancer.
Krzysztof
