Help Lilia fight diabetes!

Two years ago, Lily was rushed to the hospital with diabetic ketoacidosis and a glucose level over 600 mg/dl. The diagnosis - type 1 diabetes - sounded like a sentence and turned our world upside down! A healthy, clever, and active girl became a child with a disability who needed round-the-clock care. 

At that time, I decided Lily would start an insulin pump therapy. Since then, however, the device has become outdated and insufficient for proper diabetes management. 

Despite her disease, Lily tries to live a normal life - she goes to school, taekwondo classes, and the swimming pool. 

I must say I find it difficult to constantly control Lily's sugar levels, administer insulin, and make adjustments. As a result, I rarely sleep at night.

That is why I am raising funds for an advanced, small, tube-free insulin pump, which would help Lily control glucose levels and minimize the risk of diabetes complications. It also provides comfort and freedom! 

Lily's dream is swimming without worrying about sudden sugar drops and losing consciousness. On top of that, Lily also suffers from atopic dermatitis and thyroiditis, and she has been undergoing tests for celiac disease. 

I am asking you for support. I must do everything to provide Lily with proper treatment and give her a chance for a normal life! After all, my daughter is only nine years old! Instead of fighting for recovery, she should enjoy her childhood and spend time with her peers.
