I cannot surrender! I must fight to stay alive for my son, but CANCER is not letting go of me!

Again, I must ask you, good-hearted people, for help. Thanks to your previous support and qualified doctors, I could get through the strenuous chemotherapy.

Here's my story:

War and cancer have one thing in common - a cruel enemy that takes away the lives of innocent people and happiness. I used to have a peaceful life and a satisfying job. Unfortunately, everything changed in March 2019. That's when I heard the diagnosis that seemed like a sentence - stage 3 breast cancer. 

Today, I must deal with both wars - my private, against cancer, and Ukraine, which affects my closest friends and family. I am so scared! Every day I pray for rescue and ask God to end my misery. I have already gone through so much - the loss of hope, cancer recurrence, and the poor prognosis from my doctors who tried to prepare me for a long, tedious battle. There was a time when I was about to give up and say: "THAT'S IT. I am done."

My life turned into a nightmare. I underwent surgery and intravenous therapies, had numerous injections, and took handfuls of pills. I felt pain every day. My body felt different. However, when I wake up and look at my happy son, who says: "Good morning, Mommy", I feel better. I have no right to give up and let the cancer win! I am moving forward, leaving all the negative things behind. 

After the chemo, I started expensive cancer therapy that gave me strength and energy. I appreciated every day spent with my son again. The disease was cruel, though. The MRI scan results caused another distress - the cancer has spread to my liver and bones. 

One of the best hepatologists recommended a liver transplant. It's impossible due to the cancer metastasis to other organs, though... The only option is keeping the disease at bay with chemotherapy and targeted therapy. Lately, the battle with cancer has become more challenging and expensive, but I cannot let it take over! I am ready to continue my struggle. I am strong enough to dedicate my son as much time as possible. He is my everything, my biggest weakness and strength. He is my motivation to fight for life!
