CANCER has returned and is attacking with full force❗️ In Poland, there is no more treatment available for Magda; after almost 6 years of a dramatic battle, the options have been exhausted. The hope for life and health lies in Germany - Magda is 39 years old, with so many long and happy years ahead... We ask for help, there is no time to lose! Dear friends, I want to tell you about my friend Magdalena. We have known each other forever, for 20 years, sharing joys, dreams, and challenges. Stories of people affected by cancer have always been very sad for us but also very distant. Fate, however, turned out to be cruel. In 2018, Magda was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in a very advanced stage... She was only 34 years old. It was like a bolt from the blue...

Magdalena has always been incredibly inspiring to others. Her energy, great ideas, and determination are a driving force for those who had the chance to know her. Before the disease entered her life, she traveled, gained knowledge, and shared it with others. She was someone who showed that its always worth taking on new challenges. She was also very meticulous in taking care of her health. During check-ups, the doctor always assured that all changes and results were normal, that nothing wrong was happening. Although it's hard to believe, cancer developed very quickly, without any warnings... Nothing foreshadowed this tragedy.

Magdalena's life came to a halt when cancer took away her health at the age of 34... For over 6 years, she has bravely faced the disease. While still strong, she helped other patients. She organized a Noble Package for ovarian cancer patients, raised funds for little Kajtus fighting SMA. She repeated then that she didn't need help, that it wasn't so bad yet.

In the first line of treatment, Magda underwent extensive organ removal surgery and received 18 doses of chemotherapy. Positive results gave hope for a return to normal life. However, cancer had other plans... In 2020, it attacked again. The second line of treatment was 6 cycles of chemotherapy. The results lasted until 2022 when cancer returned. At that time, Magda and her parents moved to another part of Poland to be closer to a new medical facility where she decided to seek help. This marked the beginning of months of chemotherapy. The first type of chemotherapy initially produced results and ignited everyone's hopes. Unfortunately, 2023 brought a series of bad news...

After several months, chemotherapy becomes ineffective, replaced one after another. In the fall, devastating news of cancer in someone close to Magda comes like a powerful blow to the heart. When the situation stabilizes, Magda receives more terrible news - brain metastases. Doctors quickly organize treatment, and in November, Magda undergoes head radiation.

The year 2024 begins with the worst possible news... Due to a lack of results, oncological treatment is concluded with an indication of palliative care in hospice, with no possibility of continuation in Poland... The only salvation for Magdalena is modern immunotherapy, unavailable in our country. A clinic in Germany has been selected for Magda's treatment because it offers the most comprehensive immunological approach with dendritic cell therapy in the fight against cancer. This clinic employs renowned oncologists and complies with German drug law (AMG).

Magda is a young woman who, despite the illness, remains positive, full of faith and hope that she will succeed... Currently, she cannot consume solid foods; she is solely fed intravenously and has a nasogastric tube to relieve her digestive system. Despite physical challenges, she shows extraordinary mental strength and unwavering determination to explore all possible paths to improve her health.

We know that time is of the essence for Magdalena, and the sooner we gather the funds, the sooner she can start treatment! The tremendous cost associated with therapy causes indescribable stress. Preliminary estimates for treatment are around 300,000 PLN. Magda's family is unable to cover these expenses. The fundraiser is the only chance to start therapy as soon as possible!
