Maks versus encephalitis! This little boy needs your help!

When Maks was little, something bit his cheek. Nobody realized that one little bite would take away his childhood...

From the beginning, he had health problems, intestinal problems, and hepatic encephalopathy. He was diagnosed as an autistic child. We fought the doctors and they downplayed everything. It got worse from year to year. Progress regress, the same thing endlessly. We went in circles. In the previous year, it had the greatest setback. We could barely make it, but kept looking.

After talking to our doctor, we examined our son for Lyme disease. And that was the light at the end of the tunnel. Long treatment with antibiotics brought amazing results. Maks is back! He has made amazing progress. He started to pronounce the words, he started doing things he hadn't done before. End of aggression, head banging against the wall, hitting yourself. School and neighbors did not recognize Maks. Unfortunately, the problem returned after a year. Together with him, fears, headaches, sensitivity to light, tics. The antibiotic treatment did help a bit again, but not entirely this time. It is as it was before.

We contacted the private clinic of St. Łukasz in Gdańsk. There, the doctors diagnosed encephalitis. It turned out that he had a chance for a normal life! I need immunoglobulin infusion therapy, which is very expensive. For now, he needs 6 infusions. Each of them is about PLN 40,000 per month.

I am asking you for help, because the money I have to raise is an unattainable amount for me. I believe in the goodness of people, I am convinced that with your help we will be able to cure Maks.
