Hi, loves!
Once the video was published, it quickly became clear that not only is the amount you’ve raised out-of-this-world, but your involvement is equally extraordinary - a perfect duo!
Since the day the video went live until this moment, you’ve gifted me over fifty thousand Polish złoty, accompanied by countless words of warmth and support.
You have become my next great reason for joy! I read every message you send, and I feel in you the very same warmth you see in me. Even as I write this, tears well up in my eyes but this is far from the end.
I still need your presence in the fundraiser - please continue sharing the message about me far and wide.
I’d love to invite you all for coffee, but since that’s impossible, I promise more updates soon!
In two weeks, I’m heading off for a rehabilitation stay, and I’ll definitely let you know how things are going. Let’s plan another virtual coffee together! Sound good?
Hugs,
Marcelina

My name is Marcelina. I am 23 years old and I use a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. What I like most in my life is being with people and laughing a lot. I have been in physical therapy my whole life, which allows me to live on my own terms. I study and enjoy my own life.
At the beginning of this year, it turned out that I need to undergo a scoliosis surgery—a spinal fusion that immobilizes the spine along the entire operated section. Because I rely entirely on a wheelchair, this would have a major impact on my everyday life.

I was afraid of losing the independence I had been working so hard to achieve over the years, so I started looking for other options. I found Anterior Scoliosis Correction—a surgery that will allow me to keep my spine mobile. In Europe, it is only performed by a clinic in Italy, and it costs over 90,000 euro. Prof. Berjano qualified me for the procedure.
I don't want a “new life.” I want to keep this life that I have and love just as it is—full of plans for the future and reasons to be happy. If you can help me with this, I will be extremely grateful!
