So that Marek could reunite with his daughter and beloved wife!

Marek led an everyday life until October 12, 2022.

He used to have a job and raised an 11-year-old daughter Zosia with his wife, Iwona. Who would have thought he would be fighting for life in the hospital ICU for many weeks and become a prisoner of his body? 

That day Marek’s life changed forever. It all started with aphasia (impairment of language). He developed brain ischemia.
On the second day in the hospital, he still had impaired consciousness and seizures. The doctors decided to intubate him and put him on a ventilator. Clonic seizures and muscle stiffness appeared.

The diagnosis - encephalitis - crushed us. Despite antibiotics, fever and pneumonia maintained. Marek cannot speak. He learns how to sit.

His daughter didn’t know about his critical condition for several weeks. 
She missed him and wanted to call and see him. 

He couldn’t even move, breathe on his own, or speak. The disease caused paralysis of his entire body. All he can do is wink! 

The only solution for him is physical therapy to help him regain his abilities and let him cuddle his wife and daughter. 

Iwona takes care of him daily. Instead of enjoying everyday life, she must organize funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of her husband. It is the only way to regain fitness and recover!
