To be able to keep my feet on the ground again!

In June 2016, I was diagnosed with right tibial sarcoma, which resulted in 8-month chemotherapy and an operation to amputate the lower limb at the level of the thigh. Then, at the end of 2016, thanks to the support of my family, friends, acquaintances and many people of good will, I managed to raise the funds needed for the purchase of a prosthesis and rehabilitation. We also used these funds to adapt our apartment and bathroom to the needs of a disabled person.

It seemed that the enemy had been defeated and I could slowly return to the new normality and family life with my wife and daughter. Unfortunately, the cancer did not go away and I developed numerous lung metastases. Currently, I am after four thoracotomies of both lungs, radiotherapy and several dozen chemotherapy treatments, which resulted in two past sepses.

The last chemotherapy was discontinued by doctors in September 2021 due to exceeding the safe dose. My body is exhausted by many years of fighting the disease and it is becoming more and more difficult for me to perform everyday activities, and entering the third floor of the block without an elevator is a huge challenge. That is why I am asking you for financial support in the purchase of a new electronic knee, the cost of which is beyond my and my family's reach. The prosthesis with this knee will make it easier for me to overcome all every-day architectural barriers and will allow me to function in an incomparably safer way, without the need to involve third parties.
