For several months we looked at her beautiful, large eyes, unaware that a monster was lurking there. None of us could look at her without tears, if we knew that our child is in fact terminally ill. The diagnosis was made at the last minute!

What has happened in our lives in the past 2 weeks is hard to put into words. It is hard to find phrases that can convey our despair and fear. We'd like to know it's a nightmare, so that someone will pinch us and realize that what is happening is not real. We must put everything on one card to fight for the life and health of our baby!

Exactly on the day when Marysia turned 8 months, the doctor gave us the worst news - retinoblastoma of both eyes. Malignant tumor. It sounds scary, it sounds like a sentence passed to a tiny child who looks into your eyes with confidence and hopes that you will save them from all that is bad.

The information provided by the doctor scattered our world to pieces, completely taking away the sense of security. She made everything turned upside down, and the list of our goals shortened dramatically. There was only one thing that mattered: finding help for our little girl! Rescue from a terrible, monstrous disease that is a threat not only to the eyesight, but also to Mary's life! The cancer grows frighteningly fast - the tumor in the right eye is large enough to occupy 2/3 of the eyeball - doctors are not sure if it will be possible to save the eyesight in it.

We can count on rescue in the USA, in Dr. Abramson's clinic, but the therapy costs over a million zlotys. The worst thing is that we should come to the American clinic at the beginning of the year, and we need to pay a huge amount to start the therapy. We have no other option - we have to ask for help. We must beg for help for our daughter! We cannot allow the disease to progress, we cannot expose a small, defenseless organism to further trials. We have to fight! Health and life are at stake. Everything was at stake at this point.

We want to give our only child a chance for life. That she should look at the world aware of its beauty. We want to save her from the darkness, from the sentence imposed by the disease! We have to do everything, but getting this amount is completely beyond our reach! Our faith is you - your help and support are important in the life of our only child! We are begging for hope for ourselves, for health for our only child. Without your help, our fight from above is doomed to failure.

We cannot watch as the life we ​​gave her fled from her every day.
