Cancer attacked Michał's body! URGENT treatment is required - HELP!

Our world collapsed almost overnight. My beloved husband, the father of our two children, has cancer, and the insurance-covered treatment is insufficient. We need to raise a lot of money to save Michał! Please help us!

In March, Michał develops abdominal pain. He feels a bump below the ribs and makes an appointment with the doctor. And then, the whole world stops. The ultrasound shows a tumor on the liver. Further tests reveal it's cholangiocarcinoma, also known as bile duct cancer. This unexpected diagnosis makes us weak at the knees. 

Although we're in shock, we learn that this type of cancer doesn't cause symptoms in its early stages, and there are no screening programs for it! The disease is mostly detected by chance, and when you go see the doctor, the cancer is already advanced. Michał has been disqualified from the surgical removal of the tumor due to its size - ca. 10 cm! It also means he cannot have a liver transplant. Another heartbreaking news was the doctor's refusal to perform radioembolization. 

The only life-saving treatment is chemotherapy combined with two non-refundable medications, which cost 32,000 zlotys per single dose! Michał must take them every time he undergoes chemo. 

Additionally, he must travel to the USA to undergo next-generation sequencing (NGS), which is necessary to start an expensive targeted drug therapy. 14 pills cost over 60,000 zlotys! The treatment will allow Michał to undergo radioembolization and a liver transplant! 

The estimated cost of therapy exceeds 500,000 zlotys. We cannot afford it! I must ask you for help! Moreover, the situation has become dramatic - the tumor grew and is now 16 cm larger! 

Despite the crushing diagnosis, Michał is not giving up, though. After all, he has someone to live for! As a family, we stick together and love one another very much! Until recently, Michał was a super dad and husband, a great man, and a friend who never refused to help. We loved his unwavering optimism and extraordinary sense of humor! 

Michał used to help others all the time. Unfortunately, a cruel disease changed everything. Today, he is the one who needs help. On behalf of me and my husband, I am asking you for support!

Michał is only 42 and still has so many things to accomplish! He wants to stay alive for us - his family - me, 7-year-old Nadia, and 23-year-old Dawid. He also wants to pick up where he left off regarding his charitable work. I believe that good deeds come back to us! Will you join me in raising the funds for Michał's treatment?
