Let's help Michał!

In 2019, our second son Mykhailo was born, it was a great joy and, at the same time, anxiety and worry for the life of the child every minute, as his body was covered with a large number of moles (later we found out that these are nevi). In Ukraine, doctors could not help us because they have no experience.

They only advised us to avoid the Sun and try not to injure nevi, as there is a danger of melanoma. Time passed and the largest nevus on the hand began to bother Mishka. His arm was bleeding and neoplasms appeared. On the Internet, we found a clinic in Israel and a doctor who has extensive experience of work with similar diagnoses. When my son was 11 months old, we flew to Israel for the first time and, together with the professionals of the Hadassah clinic, decided to remove a large nevus that was bothering the child. In August 2021, I went to Israel for my son’s treatment. Long five months, three surgeries for stretching and skin transplantation on the affected body parts. We tried with all our might to overcome financial difficulties. A large part of the nevus was removed, but, unfortunately, not all at once...

Professor Margulis advised removing the remaining part of the nevus as soon as possible, but the body needs recovery after three surgeries, and wounds need to heal. In January, we flew home and were able to spend only two months with the family. The war started and we were forced to leave our home. My children and I lived in Poland for six months. On the first of September, we went to Israel to continue the treatment. With financial help from the German Foundation, the treatment started. On the ninth of September Mykhailo had the first surgery to install expanders under the skin for stretching and subsequent transplantation. We are financially exhausted and I am forced to ask for help.

There is almost no time left before the next surgery, which is scheduled for the eighth of November. Please, help my son live a happy life without fear of melanoma and pain. In his three years, he has already undergone four surgeries, and this stage of treatment is the final one (two more surgeries left). He bravely and maturely endures the difficulties. Like every mother, I dream that my children's childhood will be happy, I want Mihasyk not to remember this period of his life when he grows up. Please support us in this difficult period of our life.
