To grasp the world in both hands! Only an operation can help!

Her gaze melts my heart, her smile moves me to tears, her little hand evokes fear in me. I can't  stop wondering how Misia will cope in the future, both physically and mentally. How will she live with the knowledge that she is disabled, but above all, will she have to live with that awareness? I will do everything to prevent that from happening! Today, all of this is within our grasp, but still terribly far away...

Michalinka was born with a hand defect. Her right hand is missing fingers and has only a vestigial thumb and fifth finger. She's still a baby and completely unaware of her limitations, so we need to act fast! There is a chance to perform a complicated phalangeal transplant operation, but this can only be done up to 14 months of age. The later, the greater the chance that the transplant will be rejected, and we cannot take such a risk... Our daughter's future is at stake and we will not be able to save her on our own! Therefore, although it is terribly difficult for us, we tell our story, show our greatest treasure and ask you – please help us!
